• Hydro Group Systems have extensive in-house product test facilities at its state-of-the-art manufacturing HQ in Aberdeen (Scotland) UK. The (Pressure, Optical and Electrical) testing facility is extensively equipped with the latest certified testing equipment and machinery to ensure comprehensive and accurate data and test results of all products.

• Pressure Testing Services

  Our optical technicians are trained in optical fibre installation and testing (single mode fibre) to City & Guilds standard. Several staff members are fully trained in multimode optical termination and testing.

• Optical Testing Services

  Hydro Group Systems are pleased to offer in house pressure testing of a full range of products. Our Quality Assurance department and trained technicians are able to carry out the following tests; • Hydraulic pressure testing • Hydrostatic pressure testing • Helium pressure testing • SF6 gas testing. We can also arrange to have these tests witnessed by Lloyds, DNV, ABS or other third parties. Customer specified tests can be carried out with programmed multiple pressurise, hold and vent cycle combinations over a specified time. Full chart recording is also available.

• Electrical Testing Services

  Our fully qualified technicians are able to carry out fast accurate fault finding in your supplied connector and cable assemblies. A full report is generated stating the repair recommendations and is accompanied by a formal written quotation detailing the costs associated with the rectification of your equipment. Hydro Group also carry a full range of electrical termination equipment for all types of electrical and data communication repairs and moulding in both polyurethane and polyethylene.

• Customer Equipment

  Equipment can be either sent to our facility in Aberdeen (Scotland) for fast turn around testing and repair, or one of our trained technicians can be made available at your site locally, nationally and internationally to carry out efficient testing and effective repairs.
